Post means a type of pillar which is used to build up core(upper part of tooth ).
It requires when a tooth fractured and the walls of tooth broken down.
We do RCT and build its core with the help of post.

Post is like screw or fiber.
After core build up in the shape of tooth.
Next step is preparing tooth for capping
