Beggars at Traffic Signals: What to do?

A BEGGAR ON A TRAFFIC SIGNAL

A MAN WITH DIRTY CLOTHES ON RAILWAY PLATFORM

What you feel after seeing a beggar on a traffic signal or a man with dirty clothes on railway platform?

It’s a big question mark, definitely many people’s mind got stuck and don’t understand how to react when they ask for money. Some give one rupee, other give two, some give ten and some give hundred and some give nothing and reverse of it, they scare them and behave like, and they see them like dogs wandering there. So how you react when you see?

Definitely, very difficult to answer this

The problem of beggars is not unique to world; in fact we have the same problem in many cities in the India.
While we will not deny that there are many people who need our help, there are also many who are professional beggars, they are organized. A man or woman will "work" one street corner for a few days and then disappear for a week or more, returning for a few days at a later time. If one is observant you can determine the pattern that the beggars use to work the more lucrative corners as they move around the city, this is an attempt to avoid over exposure.

The issue of the beggars is chronic in any country and of cause it bothers us a lot. As we said, some of them are really in need, but on other hand, there are loads of them taking advantage of our feelings of pity and sympathy, not even hesitating to exploit children to increase their earnings. And we are in deep thinking how they enjoy by begging, and totally confused our mind. Sometime feel very angry on administration and political figures and made a statement, they don’t have time to see all these things. One side we are sending land rover on moon and enrolled in only four countries in the world who done  this and other side we are number one in beggars strength.
Some people not used to giving money to the beggars, but once we stopped at the traffic light and a man approached, we got scared because he did not seem an ordinary beggar, and so we quickly grabbed 10 rupees and gave him. The man jumped for joy and went away; that gave a huge relief for us, afraid of being robbed or kidnapped. After that for four or five days in a row, the man stood there at the same time, probably waiting for more easy money. We managed to escape from him by slowing down our car when we saw a red traffic light from a certain distance and we waited it to turn green before approaching him. We came to an obvious conclusion that if we do not feed them they would not be there.

we totally agree with the saying: "If a man is starving, don't give him a fish. Give him a fishing pole and teach him how to fish". If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

So don’t give anything to beggars, and if you want to give something, find the reason behind it and give him a permanent solution for his income.

And especially in India when you find the reason behind it, you will be shocked and definitely said that let it be there. And do your work, so you can do one, don’t give money to beggars.
